First of all I would like to thank Lisa Hernandez who gave me the inspiration for this post as she also reminds me a little bit of how I to manage to put aside time for working online.
I personally have two young children & I also work full time during the day.
To make time to work on my business I get up at about 5am grab a drink and a quick bowl of cereal then I get to sit down in front of my PC for about an hour & a half before I have to leave for work.
When I finish work I have my dinner make sure I spend a little quality time with my kids before they go to bed at about 7pm. When they are tucked up in bed I head back to my PC for a few more hours in the evening to continue on with my work. Also when & where possible I try to grab a few extra hours over the weekend. Today I am going to talk to you about finding a mentor and why I think it could make the difference between success and failure in your business.
I have been studying the Internet Marketing world for a few years now I have attended some seminars & courses and one thing I have noticed is that most of the successful entrepreneurs have a few things in common. I will list them below. I am sure there are a few more but these are the ones that seem most obvious to me. Read the rest of this entry

Week 2 Partnership To Success
Ok so here I am on week 2 of John Thornhill’s Partnership To Success program & I am really enjoying it so far.
So this week we have had to install a new theme on our wordpress blogs this gives it a totally different appearance. Below is an image of how the old blog looked when I first set it up. If you compare it to how it looks now you will see that there is a huge difference. Read the rest of this entry

Ok this week is week one of the Partnership To Success course. I will take you through what we have learned so far. Some of the tutorials I had already done as I do have a little bit of background knowledge and already had some things in place before I started the Partnership To Success programme.
We were first taught how to research for a domain name that reflected who we are so ideally for me the best domain name is robertchenery.com fortunately I do already own this domain name so I didn’t need to undertake this task.
The next step was to register our domain name and webhosting with D9 hosting .We then had to set up an email account and test it to make sure everything was working ok. I again already had hosting and already had registered my domain name. Read the rest of this entry

Welcome to my blog and my first official post on this website. At the moment I am in the early stages of building my own online business and creating an online presence. Over the coming weeks you will see a gradual transformation here as I intend to make this a place that you can visit that’s full of useful hints, tips and articles that you can use as a reference guide to help you build your own online business.
This year I have decided to get myself a mentor and to fully concentrate and focus on what I am being taught and actually take action and not to get side tracked like I am sure so many of us have done in the past.
The mentor I have chosen is John Thornhill he is based over here in the UK and I have decided to sign up as one of his students on his Partnership to Success program. I decided to go with John as I have known him and followed him for a while. He is one of the good guys that I have found to be very honest, open and trustworthy. He also respects the people that he has on his mailing lists and gives out some great content.
As I take this journey through the Partnership to Success program I will be posting details of what I have been up to and how I am getting on so you too can follow my progress. If there are any tools or websites that I find to be particularly helpful to me on my journey I will let you know about them here.
So I welcome you to follow my journey and look forward to making many new great friends & partnerships on the way.
To our success
Robert Chenery
